4th year

A question for 4th year students-when choosing where you would like to do your 4th year rotations, does it have to be somewhere that has primarily D.O.'s? What I'm getting at is can your 4th year be done at pretty much anywhere you want to go, and if not what are the stipulations?

Second question-what exactly is a "transitional" year for residency?

I think your question regarding the 4th year is largely dependant on the school you attend.
