Hi,
I only have 5 days left to study and the NBME form 6 I took today gave me the score 660 (258/99 according to the chart). There is another chart in First Aid that gives me a lower predicted score. Is this one more accurate?

My goal is to get at least 265/99. Should I take the test next year instead or is it possible to increase my score in 5 days?

I will only be able to study 12-20 hours per week and then full time for 10 weeks just before the test if I take it next year. Is it possible that I will forget everything during the year and get a lower score? Have any IMGs done anything similar? How should I plan this year which is during my clinical year?

Is there any information about how accurate NBME 6 is?

My other stats:
Usmle World = 77% (last time I did it was about 1 month ago and I have about 250 questions left)
NBME3 = 640 (2.5 weeks ago)
NBME2 = 640 (5.5 weeks ago)
NBME4 = 590 (nearly 2 months ago)

I wish I had your problems :laugh:

But for real though, take the damn thing already.You seem to be in optimum shape and you're likely peaking and taking longer will only make you plummet. Hit it hard for the next 5 days and carry on with your life. Good luck.

If you're an IMG, I'd suggest you go ahead and take it. Get it over with while you still can.

And ignore any and all negative comments here.

Why do you need at least a 265/99?

Yeah, but we didn't work so hard to get into med school .. *gasp* only for the money, did we? We wanted a chance to 'help people' and 'alleviate suffering'. Well, folks, here it comes.
