I have five interviews for PM&R but no prelims. Has anyone matched for an advanced position and had to scramble for a prelim spot, medicine or surgery? how hard is to scramble into a surgical prelim vs medicine?

does your school not offer any prelims? they should invite you for an interview or you can just walk into their office and ask. I have heard of people scrambling for prelims but I think that would not be fun.
