Just a few questions to those who have been there and are in the know:

1. When do we take our NBDE II--is it between our junior and senior year or after senior year?

2. Same question for WREB exam.

3. I am currently studying for NBDE part I and I will take it in 25 days. But I am working with old dental decks from 2002. Is it true that there is a new subject on dental ethics?

4. do you have to study for the ethics part of exam 1 or is it common sense?

5. i am averaging 70% on my practice exams--is this good enough to pass the boards exam?

Ok that's all. Thank you to anyone who is so gracious to share what you know and help me out!

Part 2 is taken at the end of junior or senior year depending on the school. Every school is dfifferent.

End of senior year.

Yes there are now dental ethics questions as well as case based questions.

4. do you have to study for the ethics part of exam 1 or is it common sense?
Mostly common sense, but you need the basic background knowledge. Reading the code of ethics created by the ADA helps.

5. i am averaging 70% on my practice exams--is this good enough to pass the boards exam?
No one knows exactly what you need to pass but I've been told about 60-70% will be borderline passing. You don't want to be borderline (that's cutting it too close).
