most of my lowest grades came from my math minor, not sure if that makes a difference though!

Did you ever get in touch with Rowan or any of the other MD programs in New Jersey regarding recruitment?

I passed the mention of your non-profit that you co-founded (which to me falls under leadership more than volunteering). When you say Art for a Cause, you are leveraging your past experience with music and art, correct?

Any other community service activities where you are in a position of comfort or consolation, as opposed to teaching/tutoring? Recall what "service orientation" is defined as from AAMC: Demonstrates a desire to help others and sensitivity to others’ needs and feelings; demonstrates a desire to alleviate others’ distress; recognizes and acts on his/her responsibilities to society; locally, nationally, and globally.

Art for a Cause was traditional art that my mom and I made and donated all the proceeds to an orphanage each year, but I have also done many music performances for cultural programs and for mental health/mindfulness programs.

Yes! I got in touch with Rowan, and will be meeting with RWJ soon (as I am also doing my gap year research there.

Another service activity is one I have been doing since May. Basically, I speak with Dementia patients each week who are in hospice/old age home and get to know them and make sure they aren’t feeling lonely!
