What was your school list?

Here is my school list. I had interview from Penn State in late January and also had a "very interested" status from VCU back in October where I was told I should anticipate an email for an interview, but nothing came of it.

3. Dartmouth
4. George Washington
5. Georgetown
6. Loyola
7. NYMC
8. Ohio State

126/125/128/127, which I think is pretty fair not terribly skewed.

I had a 3.6s and 507 with decent EC's and received only one MD II as well, but received II to all my DO schools (with multiple acceptances). I see similarities in our apps. I advise if you're happy with DO and rather not retake MCAT, just apply DO this upcoming cycle and you'll get plenty of acceptances. If you want MD, retake and get 512+

The fact that you got an interview is a really good sign, probably means you were not doing too much wrong with your app/stats. Harder coming from Canada, not sure if your list corresponds with the most "Canadian friendly" US med schools?!??!?

California, not Canada

I had similar EC's as your app. I retook my MCAT as well: 1st attempt 506, 2nd attempt 506 AGAIN lol. Somehow I still got accepted MD this year. BUT, I definitely suggest you retake your MCAT, I was already planning to do that as well just in case. I would shoot for at least 512 as someone else has mentioned. I think your EC's are solid, but I have learned that MCAT can be a deal breaker for some schools.

I agree with Above if you arent 100% sure you can hit 512 don't waste your time, just consider DO
