Going to apply next cycle, I’m happy with stats but would like to know where I stand with these EC
-Texas resident
-I know I’m not suppose to aim for individual schools but I really want to get into either McGovern or Baylor so I don’t have to move away from home and can commute and therefore save $
-applying to all tx schools maybe throw some oos to be safe
-3.92cGpa sgpa is same
-517 mcat
-250 hours volunteering at free clinic over 1.5yrs
-around 130hrs as a TA for ochem1 for 3 semesters
-150hrs with big brother program
-100hrs roughly over 1.5yrs volunteering with refugees
-research for around 400hrs, 1 poster presentation
-80hrs shadowing over various specialties
-could try to become pres of a club to gain some leadership experience but kinda burned out and want to take the next semester easy since I’ve had a lot on my plate for a while so idk bout this
