Question: Is it worth a retake? I am concerned with the bio score.

I am somewhat naive about the whole application process and the DAT scores... do schools just care about the averages or are minimum scores on each section required for applicants to even be considered?

MY sci/ova gpa are both about 3.9.

I feel if I retake the test I would do considerably better. My studying for this round was meager at best, and if I were to commit myself to a more grueling regimen I am sure I could improve my scores. However, do you guys think its worth it?
-or would my summer be better spent shadowing a dentist, working, and enjoying my free time?

Thanks for any advice

With a great GPA like that a pretty well rounded DAT thats fairly even across the board I don't think that Bio score will be a huge issue. What was it on the Bio that threw you?

I felt there were a few questions that looked alien and fair few more that I could narrow down to 2-3 answers and then just guessed.

I guess I struggled with questions about specific functions of like organs/ cells. I don't remember many of the questions. kinda a blur.

I can't suggest retake/not-retake because, you do have good numbers (good AA, amazing GPAs).

Call up your favorite schools and ask their opinion
