Before I say anything, I would just like to thank everybody out there for all the wonderful advise. In preparation for the DAT I read this page every single day, I can not emphasize enough how helpful studentdoctor.net is.

BIO- Cliffs, Alans Notes, Dat Destroyer, datQvault, KAP Course
Not much I can say about this section. It is very broad.....not detailed....so learn as much as you can... the more resources the better. Where I messed up on the BIO section was just mastering the above materials. All the questions I probably missed...were things I had never ever seen before.....So I think the phrase in this section "jack of all trades master of none" works...people who do good on this section, I would assume have a very broad knowledge of BIO...they questions I did know were all very simple!

GC&OC- CHAD!!!! DAT DESTROYER!!!!! KAP Course
Chad and DAT Destroyer are hands down the best materials you can buy. If you get Dr. Romanos and Chads concepts....you will be totally fine....I feel their stuff was harder...I cant emphasize enough how good these two guys are!!!

PAT- Crack DAT PAT, KAP Course
I have mixed feelings!!! Not even a question the best PAT practice out there. Nevertheless, I still thought the real test was way, way, way harder. I have heard people out there say that CRACK DAT PAT was harder than the actual....Well I must have bad luck, because I was scoring 23-25 and on almost every CDP test...and the real thing almost made me cry...maybe its just the luck of the draw....or maybe I buckle under pressure

RC-Crack DAT Reading, datQvault, KAP Course
This is my feeling about reading......Either your good at it or you are not!! Obviously Im not good at it.. with that being said, I thought the real DAT was easier in this department than any study material out there. So anything will work as long as you are practicing. If you are a good reader, I feel you can knock this section out of the park..being born and educated in a foreign country probably did not help here either!

QR- Did not really study
Should have paid more attention to this....oh well!!!!!!!

Last thing.... the KAP Course is awesome. The books they give you Suck, not even close to enough detail. The class itself is a joke! But......there are 1000's of practice questions all accompanied by great explanations in BIO,RC.OC and QR (which I skipped, not enough time). There is a bunch of RC tests to practice on. And more than anything, it is helpful to get repetitions down so that when test day comes you have your timing down, and your are comfortable....OH PAT sucks, way to easy.

anyways the SD nation is amazing!!! It is the #1 resource. I know my scores are just average....but I couldnt be happier......

For BIO it is hard to say, because there was like 5 or 6 questions that I had no idea about, or I dont even know where to find the material.

For Gen Chem and O.Chem everything you would need to know is covered by the Destroyer and Chad. There was not one thing that was on the test that I had not reviewed.... I just had some brain farts on a few. For OChem there were very few reaction mechanisms...I memorized the heck out of all of the Road Maps..as well as all of Chads reactions..so to say the least I was disappointed that I did not get to utilize that knowledge....What Im trying to say is pay more attention to all of the basic concepts more so than the mechanisms...

Honestly My friend, the DAT is not that bad. All of the study material out there is awesome, and actually harder than the DAT. And if you are diligent in studying the material recommended on SDN you will do awesome and well prepared!

No dude your scores aren't average. They are very very solid with the exception of RC. A 20 AA and TS puts you ahead of the avg 18,19 that most people who get into Dental schools have.

I see what your saying because (19 + 21 + 21 + 19 + 16)/5 = 19.2 which is a 19 AA
