I am a sophomore in college and was wondering if it's not too late for me to apply to a six year program. Also, does anybody know how hard it is to get into these programs? Does going to a six year program guarantee admission into their pharmacy school? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A 6 year program is for individuals entering Pharmacy school directly out of high school, essentially you are guaranteed a spot however the final acceptance into the professional phase is dependent upon GPA. Most schools that have a 6 year program do accept transfer students, those people who have already completed their pre-reqs at another school, however it maybe harder to gain admission to such a program because usually the majority of the seats are already taken by the students who have completed their pre-pharm at that school.
