Here's what I got from the exam this afternoon:

PAT: 25 (99.7)
QR: 18 (75.8)
RC: 21 (84.5)
Bio: 21 (91.7)
GC: 20 (81.3)
OC: 21 (87.6)
TS: 21 (92.4)
AA: 20 (87.1)

Do you guys think this is a solid score?
The math section is pretty bad 🙁, will that have a significant effects on my application?

I am a Biochemistry major from Georgia Tech, and my GPA is 3.67

I used CDP to prep PAT, CDM for QR, Kaplan (07-08) BB for science, high school Bio. notes, no preparation for reading.

I would say anything above 20 is a solid score. Math 18 is not a big deal.
=) unless you are comparing yourself to the 99.9%ers of SDN. Congrats!

What were you practice tests? (kaplan/topscore?) and what scores were you getting on those? Thanks-and nice work-go relax and enjoy some last summer days!

I only use Kaplan for my practice test:
Bio: 20
GC: 18
OC: 21
PAT: 23
Reading: I don't know, I never test it
QR: 20

For PAT, my CDP range was between 19-23
For QR, my CDM range was between 18-20

For the actual exam, I really don't think Bio was that detail oriented, but rather more random.

GC took most of my time. GC problems aren't that hard, but to me it requires some time to figure out.

OC was insanely easy; however, I only had 13 min left when I started OC.
So I rushed through the questions, and accidentally left the last question unanswered (the last question was really easy, what a shame...)

PAT was more detailed, but not necessarily harder than CDP. I would highly recommend doing all ten CDP tests, and along practice as many angle problem as you can. I honestly think the angle problem on the exam was easier than CDP.

As for reading, the first two passages took most of my time, but the third passage was so easy, I could answer it without even reading the passage.

Onto QR, I would say this is the bitch... almost all questions are word problems, and my brain just couldn't function that well after the first three parts. Plus, I spent way too much time try to solve the questions. My suggestion: if you can't figure out the way to solve the question within ten seconds, guess and move on to the next question.

Overall, I am really satisfied with the PAT score, and I really think time management is the true key to score higher in all sections.

BTW, do you guys know how long will it take ADA to send out the score to schools and AADSAS? and will there be any differences between the "unofficial score" and the "official score"?

Thanks.
