7 in a row: am I nuts?

Yes.

I did 5 interviews and took the Step 2 physical exam test in the span of 9 days (including driving). It taxed me a great deal. I would not recommend it.

No, I would not need to skip any dinners because most interview days finish at about 1-2pm and these are all relatively close to each other... plus I think only one has a dinner.

I think skipping the dinners would be a bad idea, no? Also, dinners seem less common than I previously thought.

Also, I won't have any exams to worry about at that time, my main snag is I only have 4 weeks of vacation time... hence the consolidation.

I think I can do it I'm just worried about how to pack everything and plan that many hotel reservations and trains, etc.

Do what you have to do. But it's common that after a whole series of interviews, you'll lose interest (i.e. getting asked "do you have any questions?" for the 153rd time). So, just remember to try and keep it fresh.

Ditto. OP, unless you're a superhero, it's probably not a good idea to do so many interviews in a row.

Ugh, well its hard to tell whether to change dates now or change dates later... I can't seem to predict where I will get interviews or what sort of dates they will give me...

suck it up, dude. What's the option, to cancel and, therefore, not interview at a particular place? It's a drag, but, come on; you're going to work more than 7 days in a row for huge chunks of your intern year, if not your residency years. I wouldn't skip an interview just to have a day off. Of course, this assumes you either have 7 outfits or access to a 12-hour dry-cleaner!

No I can move some of them... I am just trying to leave open days in Jan for later...

aren't there 1 hour cleaners for dress shirts only not the suit?

Also, is it rude to take your luggage with you to the interview... since you have to check out of the hotel and all?

yeah, there's one-hour "martinizing," whatever that is... I don't know if they're really doing anything back there...

And, yes, it's definitely acceptable to take your luggage to the interviews. I saw lots of this.

Why are you thinking about passing up interviews now for the possibility of interviews in January? Don't pass up a good deal to get a good deal. Take the interviews you have now and power through it.

Nah, I meant that some of the interviews could be moved to January to space them out, but I don't want to space them out, I'd rather just go on a long trip.

But if I get more later, I am assuming/hoping they will have January dates... since I have filled up most of Nov/Dec free days...
