Received it mid-September. Supplemental was finished not long before

MWU is known for handing out very quiz interview invites for people with above average statistics. Some people receive interviews within 2-3 days.

As for the other people with mediocre stats, I'd say just keep wainting 😀

Dam, must've missed out on ULNV 🙁 3.6 sGPA, 3.6cGPA 23AA though I'd have that one, guess not:bang:

Fantastic stats, maybe your file was in a different pile, you will most likely have better offers in the coming days.

I would assume with those stats you're fine. Did you get a good RC score though? They seem to find that very important.

They have this formula that they use, which gives high preference to high DAT scores. I believe they use Bio, Orgo, QR, and most of all RC.

22 RC, and yea I believe I've seen that formula. Only problem is they do not include GC in their calculation at all, which is by far my strongest section at 29. Great

Yeah, one of mine too. Sucks huh? I couldn't believe they chose to use QR instead. Anyway, good luck!

Are people from this mailing group getting many interviews? I am from 8/5 but have not had any luck yet. I know there are some, but I would be worried if there are many people getting a ton of interviews from the batch after me. Would you say most people here have at least one or two interviews? (GPAs between 3.1 and 3.5 only please).

I mailed 8/05 and was app complete by the end of the month at all of the schools excluding LECOM (which I added later in the cycle).

I received an app complete email from Louisville on 9/13. My AADSAS status said "Received/Application Complete." It changed to "Received/Under Review" on 9/30. Did this happen to anybody else?

Louisville changed my status to received/under review on 9/30 as well, the same for temple on 10/4

Some people have 3 interviews from this batch, some have none. People with 5 or more interviews applied a month before we did. So I'm expecting lotta good news coming our way this next four weeks!

I've received five interviews so far!!! Just had my UF interview!!!:banana::banana:
Everyone is so nice at UF.

I've received interviews from pitt, LECOM, Nova, UF, and Case. Still waiting to here from 7 other schools I applied to. I suggest just being patient... your interviews are on their way. I'm sure of it 👍 Mine all came in around the same time.

Those other 7 schools said their process is very intensive and it may take up to two months to review your application. That doesn't include the time it takes for them to get to your application.

I also heard back from Case, Nova and Lecom, but not UF or pitt (though I'm not actually expecting a good response from those two).
When did you apply though? Was it late?

Can you tell me when you heard back from Case? My AADSAS mailed out 8/5 and I had already paid the $45, but I haven't heard a peep from them, good or bad.. Did you receive an invite there?

I heard back from Case very quickly. They sent me an e-mail on Aug 30th. Unfortunately, they simply put me on "hold" pending my fall 2011 grades. I'm guessing this will prove to be a de facto rejection.

The reason I say this, and the trouble for your Case ambitions, is that I'm pretty sure Case has interviews scheduled way past december. If I were you, I'd start thinking of the great aspects of the other places I applied.

Buffalo put me on continuing review, I guess it's a essentially a rejection. How did you guys hear back from nova? I have yet to hear anything from them.

It was a snail mail rejection for me. It happened within a couple weeks of my mail out. When they reject, they seem to do it quickly. So it might be a good thing you havn't heard back. Maybe they are giving you a closer look. 👍

Ah thanks, how may post December interviews do you think I need to gain an acceptance? My calc says 5, but I really don't think I can get that many interviews.

I guess it depends on where you get those interviews, but I would say you should feel pretty good about your chances with just a few interviews. I think at 5+, I would be completely without worry.

Personally, I'm just hoping to get around 3. Only having one gives me no wiggle room. :scared:

#2 at Roseman 🙂

It's weird, both times I said I felt good about a particular week on this thread, I promptly got an interview.

Hi guys, my AADSAS application was mailed out on Aug 18th, but it was on hold as my DAT scores weren't in yet. My DAT scores were mailed out on Oct 7th, when should I expect to hear back from schools? I don't want to drive myself crazy thinking I should be hearing back from them soon. My stats are below:
GPA (sci, overall): 3.56, 3.54, I have a pretty good trend, first 2 years were near 3.0, last 3 years are 4.0, 3.9 and 4.0.
DAT: Bio 23, Gen chem 26, orgo 19, TS 22, RC 22, QR 23, PAT 19, AA 23

I applied to: UPenn, Columbia, MSU, Boston, NYU, Case, Maryland and Tufts

Thanks!

Your DAT scores are really good so I'd say you could hear back from Case very soon, since they seem to have a really fast turnaround time and book interviews heavily in advance. But don't expect to interview there before December. I booked my interview Aug 30 and the earliest one was Dec 1. I applied to all the schools you did (except for Michigan State) and I unfortunately have only heard back from Case. I haven't even gotten a supplemental from Maryland yet. My file was complete 9/2 but I had an initial mailing date of Aug 19 (I think that's what you meant, not the 18th), so I'd say we're fairly similar in our submission timeline.

You might hear sooner though since they've had your app for so long and have just been waiting on DAT scores.

Thanks for the info cleanup! I hope I hear back from Case soon, it would feel pretty comforting to have an interview. I am thinking it would take them a minimum of 2 weeks before I hear anything back. I checked my AADSAS again, and yes you are right, it was mailed out on the 19th like you said. Let's hope we both hear from Maryland soon LOL although mine still says "Missing information" so it'll probably take a while at least. Good luck with apps, we all need it after slaving away at UofT.
