Well Never did Topscore and Achiever. Just Kaplan tests so yea..

PA - 20
QR - 19
RC - 14🙁
Bio - 23
GC - 23
OC - 22
TS - 23
AA - 20

The Materials I studied were Kaplan stuff, Cliff AP bio and DAT destroyer. CDP also. Bio and QR sections were so random. Hated QR section especially b/c it had all wiered Qs 🙁

As for RC - Aspirin, Intracellular communication and last one Piano. Aspirin took a while about 21 22 minutes. Intracellular communication - i just knew it from studying so taht was fast and had 23 minutes left. I clicked Next and I see PIANO. I am like NOOOOOOOOOO...I tried but all random Questions. i couldn't find answer to like most questions. and Many Questions were like what do you think of this passage? Is it optimistic, informative and blah blah...many many tone Questions which sucked...

Rest was okay...

GPA 3.76 with or without science and will surely go upto 3.78 to 3.80 by end of this semester

any suggestions about Reading Comprehension low score 🙁? Should I call the school and ask about it? please tell me Thanks.

btw Is it 25 the highest standard score you can get in each section?

OH NO! I'm taking it in 3 hours. Does that mean I'm gonna get pianoed too? *sweats* I was worried about getting piano so i decided to go on wiki to read about it. I don't think it'll help :-(

wow you aced the sciences! did you do the kaplan online material and what did you find was the closest resemblance to the actual test the quizzes, workshops, or practice tests?

Dam, you're getting me scared of RC now. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but most schools cut off for RC is 15.. but, you should definitely call some schools and find out. Were u using S&D?

none of the kaplan was closest resemblance seriously...am glad I bought cliff AP bio to learn about bio more and DAT destroyer. Even though they were not straight forward questions, I tried understanding everything and that helped me on bio and gen chem Questions. Org chem was also easy. I don't know where I lost my points on that 😡 that is my strong subject too wiered...oh yea there was NO single questions about TCA or glycolysis or photosynthesis or any cycles or any of those :|. I was expecting more of those too but oh well.

and RC was easy. don't be afraid of it. First two passages were easy but Piano killed me thats all.....it's just wiered questions they had for piano I knew it was going to come grrrrr

I feel for you man. I got a low RC as well and scared to hell if that's gonna hurt my chance. We just have to try and see what happens. Good luck!

Are the other two passages difficult (Aspirin and Intracellular Communication)?
Why specifically was the Piano passage difficult?
Is it the length? time issue? difficult to understand? or just because there are a lot of tone questions?
Do you recommend not using the Search and Destroy method for the Piano passage and just read the entire passage and answer the questions?

Other passages were easy surely...Aspirin took me 22 min and I used Kaplan mapping method.

Intracellular thing was about how hormones attaches to membrane and then whole cascade of G protein, ATP to cAMP, protein kinase thing and I knew about it from studies done BEFORE long time. Didn't study this for DAT thought.

This below is only regarding to piano:
Piano passage I say if you have time do try to understand passage quickly and mapping on it won't help so just write down topic of each passage only. that might help. There were some Qs where there is two questions in 1 so that sucked...hated Piano 🙁

we had the same test. I spent most of my time on piano passage & ended up guessing for the last passage. I got 15 & have to retake it. Great science scores!

what a nice scores !! just prepare the interview and tell them you got unluck on the RC and will have no problem...

as to GC or OC kbb online or destryer is enough? how were your simulated test on those subjects. are they similar to the real one?

General Chemistry was easy as to just set up the formulas.... I had 12 minutes left after i was done with whole Science Section lol no kidding....Organic Chem was also so easy...all mechanisms were just from book. no tricky ones....I only studied destroyer and kaplan for those 2 so yea and Chad's video too I just went quickly over it. it wasn't too bad.

Btw for percentile...next to other like PAT, Bio and all that i see all 90s but for RC I see 5.0 😕 is that mistake :-/ ?

So u think kaplan and destroyer are enough for gen chem and ochem?

They were for me...b/c I practiced setting them up again and again not just once and I always have been good with organic and Gen chem.

Honestly I read bio section of kaplan book 5 to 6 times n Cliff AP bio book 2 3 times.

Gen chem 2 times from kaplan and destroyer 4 5 times and for Organic I read the TEXTBOOK and destroyer.

Those 2 are only books are I had for Science and Maths.

of all the weakness of the kaplan materials, i definitely think that Reading Comprehension is not one of them.

i dont understand this piano business..

Even if you get every question wrong.. - 18 that is still around 60% so around a 18.. 19.. even a 20 in some test verisions..

The Piano passage must have prevented you from doing well on the others.. to get a score so low..

btw.. Kaplan method sucks wastes like 15mins to map the thing before you can even start answering questions..

but that doesn't mean you will get all Qs right on other passages 😛 lol if we were good really with other passages then piano wouldn't be hard for us either hehe 😛

I had the same passages on mine a few days ago. I scored 16. 😱 Have you guys heard anything back from schools?? Does low RC mean a definite retake?

I just wanted to say you guys are worrying way to much about that piano thing. I got a 19 not that that is great but really there is not that many things about a piano. I think the passages are pretty easy reads. Just dont freak out, relax and skim over it the first time. The main thing is to get an idea of where things are in the passage. Go searching and read that paragraph well, go to the next quest. and go search and read that paragraph. Pretty soon you will have read it all and will find answers to quest. you couldn't find. I found answers to quest. I guessed on and went back and changed them when I had 10 min left over. Search and destroy is fastest but IMO I think we all would score better if we just read it.

Ouch!!! I thought the ADA like updates the DAT stuff every year don't they? It's been over a year since I've taken my DAT and the piano passage is still going around??? Still...congrats on your other sections!! You did GREAT!!! So don't beat up on yourself too much. Call the schools and ask for their piece of advice.
