I applied to 5 unranked MD schools, 20 in the rank 10-40 range, and 5 top 10's. I'm a non-URM. I submitted all my secondaries by the third week of July. Is it safe to assume my application has some red flags I was unaware of?

Thats not out of the ordinary. I have LizzyM around 77, and i only have 1 interview too. I would stay patient and not jump to any conclusions just yet.

Assuming your post isn't a humble brag, based off of the ranks of the schools you applied to, they most likely have a massive influx of other top-tier candidates, and you're part of that crowd, so you may not stick out as much. Fear not, you'll be fine, I promise lol.

Chill, yo.

Well... if nothing else, your post made me feel a whole lot better! 🙂.
This cycle has already worn down my patience! I have 1 II as well, but three rejections (to be fair they are from Washington, Keck, and Georgetown, and I'm OOS/OOR for all of them and Keck and Washington were reaches), so I've kind of been going through cycles of feeling OK and convincing myself that it's only September, and total despair thinking I'm never getting in anywhere.

Can you tell us more. What is your home state?
Are you 4.0 525 MCAT
How many of the 30 schools are OOS publics?
What's the rest of your resume look like?

When were your LORs or Committee Letter submitted?
It is still early

I feel you, I mean just look at how many people here already have 10 or so IIs... It's easy to feel inadequate no matter how qualified we might be. I think it's best to spend some time away from SDN and r/premed and stuff and just try not to think too much about it. IIs will trickle in when they do, and it's not like there's really anything we can actually do to speed things up right now, so

What's the school list? How many schools have you received confirmation of being 100% complete from?

lol, a lot of people in TX havent started interviewing and TX is like a month ahead of AMCAS. no worries yet dude. No interviews by Thanksgiving? Start worrying
For the Thanksgiving "deadline", is this interviews scheduled or interviews attended?

received, period is the heuristic used around here. No II by Thanksgiving = start planning for next cycle. That being said, there are many people, in particular late applicants with otherwise strong applications, who receive IIs after Thanksgiving and receive acceptances by the end of the cycle.

All good OP. Just embrace this time of your life. Most people with your stats get in somewhere. Just be sure you weren't applying top heavy.

this made me laugh. . Thank you. I needed that
I do what I can. But seriously...you're fine. If you get an interview I think you can definitively say that there's nothing "wrong" with your application. At this point it's just a matter of having more "right" than the other applicants. And if your numbers are that good I'm sure you will be getting more bites.

Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not.

Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out IIs merely in chronological order.

I've seen this response of yours so many times Goro, that I'm beginning to think you have it saved for copy & paste somewhere on your desktop

This cycle has worn down your patience? Lol...it's sept 1. Your patience must have been in short supply to begin with. Work on that.

You're not OOS for Keck or G'town. Those are privates. Can't imagine why anyone OOR for UWash would waste an app.

Because it was $39. 🙂.

I applied the day AMCAS opened and finished secondaries the beginning of July, so it's been 2-3 months.
No need to be hostile and create issues when there wasn't one there to begin with. 🙂

I once found an application timeline on Tumblr that specifically had the helpful hint "do not look at SDN."

This premedmissteps guy is really weird. Look at his post history. He isn't a pre med, adcom, physician, or medical student. He just makes hostile posts on this forum all day as some sort of sad hobby.

Well, he was simply pointing out that you didn't do due diligence in applying to U WA.

I think I got 67% of my interview invitations after September 1st
