I'm not sure if there is already one, but I couldn't find any.

I'm about 1 month into studying but just did the EK PS 30 min exam. The microscopes and lenses caught me off guard =/

How is everyone else doing?

I think you have a solid, well balanced score. Considering your high gpa, you definitely have a shot at a school in CA.

btw, what was your major at ucla?

Physiological Science with a minor in Biomedical Research. I have one publication so far.

And I appreciate you responding =)

Heres my breakdown: 7VR 8PS L 10BS 25L

Not to bad considering I only had 7 weeks to study, and I was unable to take any aamc FL's. With more than 3 months till the next cycle begins, I have confidence I can boost my score to 30 or above with this time by working on my weak areas (VR and PS), and taking aamc FL's to gauge my progress.
Congrats to those who reached their targets, and good luck to those who look to retake.

Thanks, I'm considering retaking a 33 since my bs was 9 when I usually scored 12-13 on the aamc. How long did you study before the second test?

a 33 is a great score! what were the scores on your other sections?

i took the first test a couple of years ago and hadn't got in anywhere. my gpa was borderline. when i was studying for it this summer it was pretty much like i was studying for the first time. i forgot nearly all ochem and physics concepts.

i started studying in early june, which gave me about 3.5 months. if you want more advice i'd be happy to help. just shoot me a msg.

I think i'm an underdog because I have a low gpa. People who have like a 3.9 and a 28 or something I don't think are that much of an underdog lol but I am biased.

a 28 can be improved by devoting 2-3 months of studying, a stunted gpa takes a little longer time to heal up. IMO

Got at 32 (11P, 9V, 12B). Seeing the score was bittersweet. On one hand, I was expecting to have done much worse. I was predicting a score of 6 on VR since I felt like I guessed on so many questions. I'm definitely retaking it though, considering I was so distracted by the girl sitting next to me who was coughing the entire time. I feel like I can do much better. I guess we'll see next spring...I'll be retaking it sometime then.

3.35 cgpa 3.05 sgpa 32Q (12B 10P 10V. MCAT was a sigh of relief, 2 points above my highest practice test. I'm so happy my solid 3 months+ of dedication and hardwork paid off. =)
