I am a non-trad learner. I went to college like 15 years ago, I was a business major,I didnt care how I did on science courses or if I had to repeat them. Now 15 years later I take bio/chem/o-chem/calc based physics/A&P running about 3.8 but when avg'd with my grades from over a decade ago...its a hot mess. I know its not the d-schools problem and I dont blame them for anything. They've got 1000+ applications to look at that already meet the criteria with no issues so mine can get tossed away without thinking twice. I just hope someone somewhere sees whats going on in my app and is willing to consider it.
Urm? Public school?
Maybe do a retake. An 18 is a point lower than the avg score for students that get accepted.
Getting a higher DAT score is the fastest way to boost the strength of your application.
I have a sub 3.0 science GPA and I put a lot of effort into the DAT to get a good score. I'm applying this June.
