I have made the decision that I want to apply for pharmacy school this summer to be potentially admitted in fall 2012 but I am unsure about a few things.
First off I am not sure how to calculate my overall GPA and my science GPA, I have just transferred to a university last fall so like half of my science courses are at the community college and the other half I am in the process of completing.
I think my overall community college GPA is 3.5 and my university overall GPA right now is a 3.0
Also, when I first transferred to the university I had issues with readjusting with living away from home for the first time and so I go a C in Biochem (part A, my university has biochem drawn out into 3 quarters) and a C in genetics. My 2nd quarter I got Bs and this (3rd) quarter I am aiming for some As too.
How will the 2 Cs in Biochem and Genetics affect me for pharmacy?
And how is the science GPA calculated by the way? Every science I have ever token counts or only certain science classes?
