Let's say you interviewed at school X......

After your interview about a week later you decide to go online just for the hell of it to see if you have a student ID at school X...

you do!!!

Do you think it would be safe to say that perhaps you have been accepted to school X?

Why else would you have a student ID at that school?

What?!?! Are you messing with us? How can you have a student ID without telling the school you're going to go there?? Maybe you were assigned an applicant ID and that's what you're pulling up. Anyway, how did you look that up??

Why would a school give you an ID before you accepted a spot? Even if they were going to accept you, I wouldn't think they would put you in their system before you said "yes...I'm coming, hold my seat." Are you sure someone doesn't have the same name as you? I hope you are in as well, but it sounds a bit fishy.

Patience is a virtue...what if it were possible and schools were trying to see who wasn't patient and if someone found their student id...then the schools would automatically reject them.....oh that would be all bad!! 😱

It seems like a very unlikely situation. What school gives this kind of access to the public?

If there are any legit answers to these questions I am listening.......

Alot of schools give access to finding out your school ID if you forgot it...

I have no clue which, if any, schools give student IDs to people they accept....doesn't really make sense to me because like everyone is saying...if you haven't accepted the offer yet why make a file for you.

This scenario was thought up over some alcohol and good eats! :-D

It makes for some good conversation. I am all about shooting the shat with predents at my school. In fact, it is like SDN live with real people.

Any conversation is better than none. But man leading predents astray isn't admirable, it would have been cool if you said that in the OP so predents from far and wide didn't search endlessly for ID's.

Oh well huh. In this state of anxiety we are pretty gullible.

I think its pretty sad that some BU year one dental student has decided to freak new applicants out. 29DATyep is just some 1st year with too much time on their hands. Seems like someone should be studying more and spending less time #&^%ing around on SDN. Also two things: (1) Would you people consider it shallow if you were still posting your DAT score one year later? (2) If you really got that high of a score, would you really choose BU?
