So I had a few questions before I e-submit my application to PTCAS.

1) I was wondering if I have to wait for my professors to send in their letters of rec before I submit?

2) I was planning on taking the GRE next month so is it possible to submit my application beforehand and then send in my scores once they come in? If so, how would I go about this?

3) Lastly, is it possible to update observation hours before submitting or should I wait until I finish all of my observation hours.

Q: Do I have to wait for my references to be received at PTCAS before I can e-submit my application?

A: No. You can and should e-submit your PTCAS application as soon as you are confident that you have filled it out completely and accurately. If materials arrive before you e-submit, you will not be able to see the receipt status of these documents until you have e-submit your application to PTCAS.

Q: What if I have taken the GRE more than once?

A: Enter data for all complete and PLANNED test dates on the PTCAS application and arrange for your official GRE scores to be sent directly to the programs, if required. If you request official scores to be sent to one or more programs, ETS will automatically send all of your GRE scores for the past 5 years. Not all PT programs require the GRE for admission.

Updating PT Hours After You E-Submit

You can update the PT observation hours section after you e-submit your completed application to PTCAS if the experience is listed as “in-progress” and is being verified electronically. Any changes will move your PT experience to “unverified” status. Your designated PT programs may not consider updated or unverified PT experiences in the admissions process.

But you still need all the essays written before you e-submit, right?
