hey guys, got some questions below. some of them are semi-common and ive already done searches, just want to see what else i can dig up from my own post.

questions:
1)what schools do you know that allow you to change residency after your first year?

2)what schools would you recommend for someone interested in OMFS (please leave out the "dont count on getting an OMFS residency" type responses)?

3)what schools do you see that have larger class sizes?

4)what schools do you think I might be able to get a scholarship at (of any amount, my stats in my sig)

you dont have to answer all of them. just throw a number up to reference which one youre answering. 🙂

1) Stony brook and Buffalo, New Jersey...thats all I really know.

It happens at Maryland and Virgina occasionally, but don't count on it.

Pitt and Temple...no

Those are the only states that I interviewed in.

2) Every school...only school that gives distinct advantage = Harvard

3) NYU, Tufts, Maryland...most schools really besides UCONN, Stony Brook, and Harvard.

4) I have heard that Penn, Tufts, and Michigan give out a good amount of scholarship money.

1. Uconn, tOSU, and Nebraska. Iowa said that they give a scholarship to pretty much all of their out-of-state students that pretty much takes them down to what in-state tuition would be.

1. Indiana -no
2. with your scores you may get into any school unless you flunk the interview. and btw, Iowa is the only school in the nation that has ALL the specialties you may be itersted in. Their class size is only 15 for outofstaters, but they like high GPA (the higher, the better😉) and a great TS score, which you def have.
3. Case, Creighton, Indiana (if you think that 100 is a big class). Just go to predents.com and see how many seats for out-of-staters are provided by each school.
4. I've heard only of UPenn, and many outofstaters with high scores like yours got it.
GL.
