How do you describe the sounds of A-fib besides "irregular?"
what on auscultation/physical exam would prompt you be reasonably sure A-fib is present?

I'm an MSII, learning the H&P. I saw this patient's chart/EKG afterwards and totally missed it. I'd like to catch it the first time around next time. 🙂

An EKG. 😉

Seriously, though...it can be tough to distinguish between frequent PACs/PVCs and AF on exam. You really need the EKG to be sure.
