I'd really like to stay close to home but I know not to throw all your eggs in one basket. Is there anything you guys would add/drop or replace? I'm about to e-submit and just want a little last minute insight.

Thanks for any helpful input you are able to give!

Where's your "home"?

That sGPA is gonna hold you back. If I were you, I would consider applying next cycle to bring that up.

I disagree about your science GPA being too low for applying this cycle. Mine was only a bit higher and secured a few acceptances (and maybe more if I had chosen to go to the interviews).

Otherwise, I think your school list looks good! For comparison's sake, I was accepted to MWU AZ, LECOM, UNE, and turned down interviews for NYU and Tufts

What do you consider a low sGPA then? For all intents and purposes, it's low. Applying cost a lot of money. I'm not gonna lie and say that's a fine GPA. Doing so would only harm the OP here.

It's not a great GPA for a science GPA but it's not too low to stop OP from applying, in my opinion. I would not apply if it was below 3.0

I'd like to raise my sGPA but I've already graduated and I dont really want to do a post-bac. Could you tell me about your stats and how many schools you applied to? I know my stats aren't great but I'm hoping they look at the whole picture. I work at a dental clinic which is a rotation site for UM and UDM dental students and the director has agreed to write me a strong LOR.

I'll send you a private message!
