Hey, everyone! This is totally random, but I'm working on my iTunes collection right now and had an idea. I've seen some pretty, uh, heated threads going on lately, and I thought we could take a break from that and do something fun.

What's your favorite song? It can be for "right now" or "of all time." I want some new stuff for my library, and it'd be neat to see what everyone out there listens to!

I'm a sucker for anything with piano in it. I'd have to say that my favorite song over the years has been "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds.

You'd probably like Foxygen's debut album then as well. There are some elments of The Velvet Underground/Lou Reed, Bob Dyan, Rolling Stones in their music.

"Mind Mischief" is one of my favorites from that album but the video is maybe NSFW so I didn't post it. I'm with you on Foxygen, awesome.

I like the live version of this, which this vid is (more passion behind the performance). You can always listen to the studio version which is polished but is missing that raw emotional component which is vital to a song such as this.

I picked this song in particular because the lyrics are solid, the voices paired blend harmoniously together, both ppl have great vocals, and most importantly there's PIANO! Enjoy!

Just listened to this song again- seriously whoever paired their voices is genius (who would have thought to do so, right?). Separately I'm so-so about them but together it's like the sun shining bright. Mmm, love their voices in harmony!

Yes this is! Anything from the Garden State soundtrack is stellar (which this is, for those who don't know. It's also a great movie!). Every single track on that album is a standout.
