say,I'm a flight surgeon on a carrier, then do I have internet access on board ? ? if so, paid on my own expense, or they provide it unlimitedly ?

Just curious,

Most if not all CV's now have internet access, without cost. Be aware thought that there will always be times when you have neither internet or phone access.

There's also an oldtime service (the name escapes me now) where the radio operators send a message to your family relayed by ham radio operators. On my first cruise (as a pilot, not a doc) I sent one to my parents and some guy called them on the phone to relay my message and ended up talking to them for an hour!.

Anyway, long answer to your short question.
