Sorry about the pseudo-alphabetization (partially due to the different ways people abbreviate schools). If you want to fix it, I'll be happy to fix it in this post. I'll update this post each day based on the replies to this thread. Hmmmm

Oops! I had Commonwealth on there, but I must have deleted it when I was renaming schools (writing their names out, that is) 😛

you can add Northeastern University -Feb 15 interviews

I've already got acceptance to American International College (springfield, ma)

Check some of the other threads, people have received rejection notices from a handful of programs. U of Georgia has had their first round of interviews, and I have an "unofficial" rejection notice from them as well.

Eh, okay. I'll leave rejection letters up to the other threads then.

List has been updated.

Hi, Thanks for organizing this. Its great! I have an invitation to The University of Northern Colorado if you want to add it to the list.

Got it.

I added some PsyD programs to the end of the list based on a private message from Noah333. Let me know if any of the others are PsyD, and I'll put them down there as well.

Updated. Thanks, another anon.

i got accepted today to u of new haven (in ct).

ps this list is awesome.

we should make a list in may or something with everyone's final location/screenname.

Who's all going to the Drexel interviews next Friday and Monday (2/10 and 2/13)??

oops! double post!

I made a couple more updates. I'm leaving for Temple interviews tonight, and I'll return Monday night. I'm bringing my laptop though, so I'll probably be able to make changes while I'm away... not that anyone would die if I didn't.

I received an invite to CUNY today if you'd like to add it. Good luck at your interview!

I got an interview at University of Virginia the Curry School, so you can add that to the list.

Hi guys - University of Delaware can be added to the list - I heard from the professor this morning!

How did you hear from Bryn Mawr? Who did you apply to work with? I applied there.

Updated. Just got back from Philadelphia. Temple interviews went surprisingly well, but most of the interviewees seemed to think so, so who knows.

Speaking of which, did I meet any of you today? I think there were some others on here who got interviews.

< Devin, Monday morning interviews

P.S. If I did meet you, you'll have to tell me who you are, 'cause I pretty much never remember names, even when I try to.

I just received an interview from Baylor (PsyD.), so you can add it the list. Thanks!

I applied to Baylor also, how did you hear about the interview, by letter or email

I received an email this morning. It was addressed to my individual adress from the graduate secretary. The letter seemed to be a standard letter to all interview applicants. It said they were inviting 30 applicants from a total of 150 applications. I don't know if they were all sent out or not. I would email or call the admissions secretary she has been very friendly to me in the past. Best of luck. Let me know if you get an invite.

I got an email from Liz Hertz, the Director of Admissions for the Wright Institute, with an interview offer. 👍 🙂

i received an e-mail from bryn mawr (psych dept secretary) last thursday and had the interview today. i didn't really apply to work with a specific prof but did interview with two different ones.

Updated. I don't think I'm going to check other threads for interview offers anymore, so if you want it on the list, post it here. If there's no interest, the list will just stay as it is. Sorry!

Can whoever got an interview at UMich say when you got the invite? Also, did your application status change on the Wolverine Access webpage prior to you finding out about the interview?
Thanks!

Thanks!

That was someone on the Princeton Review Board. They got into social psych. Also, if you go to the www.livejournal.com/applyingtograd community, meridionale has set up a survey in which someone claimed to have got into cognitive psych as well.

I received an interview offer today from Suffolk University. The interviews are for Friday, March 3 or Saturday, March 4, with a social event on the Friday night. Anyone else going???

I received interview invitations from Kent State and UNC-Greensboro

What do people know about these programs???

how much do you need to know about them? you applied to them, didn't you research them?

Well of course I researched them. Both of my professors of interest contacted me. I was just wondering if anyone else heard from these schools? Or if anyone knows more about the reputations of these programs. I have gotten mixed messages from anywhere and everyone I talk to.

I have a friend at UNC-G, and she is very happy with the program

Updated. Has anyone heard from Washington State or U of British Columbia (master's)?

Hello everyone! I posted this in the other thread, but figured I'd share it here, as well, so the information could be added to the list.

- University of North Carolina has already extended all of their interview invitations.
- According to the secretary at Harvard University, she "believes" that all interview invitations have been extended, but would not say so conclusively.
- Columbia University Teachers College has contacted their first round of interviewees, and will contact their second round next week for interviews on March 9.
- Nova Southeastern University has NOT sent out interview offers yet, and will not do so until mid- to late-February.
- University of Pittsburgh was, unfortunately, unavailable, though I had heard from them previously that interviewees were supposed to be contact this week for an interview weekend on February 24 and 25.

I was invited to UNC-Greensboro. Who's your professor of interest? (Mine is Dr. Keane.) When do you go there? (i'm going there on 27th) What have you heard about UNCG?

Dr. Kwapil invited me to the interviews on the 27th as well. I have heard lots of great things about the program, and Dr. Kwapil was very nice on the phone so I am very excited! I will see you there!

I've received an interview Feb. 24 to Notre Dame (counseling, changing to clinical) but unfortunately this conflicts with when I'm going to Colorado, as I cannot make the original date. As I'm as undergrad at ND, I hope to make an alternate interview arrangement.

Has anyone received invitations to interview from U Miami (clinical health), U Washington (adult clinical) or UK (adult clinical)? Thanks for your responses!

I got an interview from UPenn, via e-mail, today, from the department. They have two different interview dates, end of Feb and first week of March. If anyone else is going, PM me if you want to meet up.

Has anyone heard from University of South Carolina, Georgia State, or University of Hawaii?

Yes, I heard from South Carolina, maybe about 2 weeks ago? Interview day is Feb 27.

U Maine interview invitations have been extended.

I interviewed at Kent State last year and was accepted. I didn't go though. The reputation is that it's an excellent school and sort of a powerhouse in graduating clinical psychologists. My advisor went there and just received tenure at my university. PM me if you have more questions. Who are you interviewing with?
