Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if Columbia rejects people post-interview? Or are people either accepted or waitlisted? Does anyone know what percentage gets accepted/rejected/waitlisted? Thanks for your help!

People have been rejected post-interview. DOnt know the breakdown for you as to how many - try doing a search. there is an applied interviewed accepted thread, a countdown thread and a waitlist thread out there.

good luck

I regret having to tell you this, but don't hold your breath.
Circa 20% of those interviewed are usually offered acceptances before the end of February. That means that almost double the eventual class size are offered places. At that time a very large number of both the interviewed and non-interviewed receive the bad news, namely, rejection letters. There is also a wait-list, but there is little use calling before June. If you are wait-listed, write a letter of intent to attend if accepted, and if you really want to go to P&S, write Dr. Frantz reguarly.

I don't think it is useless to call before June. Check out:

of if that link doesn't work, look for the "Columbia Wait List" thread. You'll find an example of a person who called and ended up getting a second interview.

I would agree, however, with keeping up with the correspondence, if you are really interested in attending Columbia.
