Wow! I was all uptight about our upcoming physical exam practical on Tuesday-- then I started reading this thread. It's hilarious! Here's me laughing:

As you can see...I'm not really white; I'm kind of brown. Oh yeah...I'm a horse too. Forgot to mention that earlier.

And here is the prime example of why you SHOULD NOT care what people on SDN think. Ip has done this same thing in two other threads, start a fight for no reason. By the way Ip, you were the one that started talking smack about DO's and you just got upset when it got you put in your place. Don't go pulling the race card just because you can't win an argument. Dr. I, use this an example of why not to care about the opinions of anonymous internet posters. Man oh man, this kid's responses make me want to go punch old people. That or kick puppies. Anything would make more sense at this point.

First of all you are using words like: "bigoted", "racist", or "discrimination" totally out of context. You are probably a product of your state government funded public education therefore you most likely don't understand the true definition of these words. It must be from all of the years that the "power" held you down and now you feel the need on an annonymous public forum to "Fight The Power." Wrong place for it. And until you walk in everyones shoes here that you have accused then your arguments, and wrong use of the words are WEAK!! What a Looser👎

Yea, moving a whole family with kids and dogs and cats from New York to Tennessee is quite an adventure.😱 I have so much to do still and then will have so much to do down there to get settled in. But, it will all get done. We bought a great house down there, so I am really excited.🙂

Yeah that seems like a big move to say the least.

Do you think getting a new kitty for med school would be a bad idea. I have missed having a cat my four years of college... I've had cats since I was a little kid... I like dogs but don't want one until I have a yard.

I don't think I'll be moving into my new apt until August 1st...

It's too bad that you didn't come to PCOM. We'll all prob stop posting on here as much when school starts.

why dont you all pull yourselves together and look objectively at what you've done. I've shown you a classic example [/SIZE]a psychological defense mechanism in which you pose to be superior to conceal feelings of inferiority.[SIZE=-1]on top of that just add the lack of respect for other professions and people. i'm sure your future "patients" would love to hear about it.

I withdrew there in December. Sorry! I don't want to live in the city anyway. I am just a country girl at heart.😉 I will probably never post on here once we move because I have to have dial-up at our house because we are so far out in the country. Once school starts, I will have no time to post anyway.🙁

A kitten would be perfect. Cats are easy to keep if you are really busy. I think that would be a wonderful idea. 😍 👍

LOL! OK. I have driven through PA a number of times on my way south. There are definitely some really remote areas there.

To be honest, I was more comfortable with the rural setting of WVSOM, but that feeling was secondary to knowing that I was going to get teh widest breadth of experience possible at PCOM... Plus Philly is an excellent city for making connections. That and the fact that PCOM is so old and is close to home for me was the reasoning why I chose PCOM.

So, I'm here to request tips and advice on how I may be kinder and not come off as a prick every single time.
