My story is this...
I've spent a considerable amount of time shadowing a family doc back home and a heme/onc doc when I'm up at school. This past summer I had an unpaid internship in my county's medical examiner's office where I assisted in performing autopsies (I was basically shadowing a surgical pathologist, right?) and performed some fun janitorial duties.
My question is this...
Do my experiences qualify as volunteer experiences?
I certainly wasn't paid. So, I was volunteering. But, I also don't really help the docs I shadow (besides making their days super fun).
If not, what would you describe them as on a resume?
Please give me some insight.
