Anyone got lower than 19 after using the Destroyer?

does anyone else have a feeling that dr ramano or whatever the destroyer guy's name is could be posting all those words of praise himself? i mean, i understand that the books are helpful but just about every second thread is about someone who "wouldn't have made it without it", "owes dr ramano forever" and so on. it almost seems that the guy is trying too hard...

Dude, it's because it works. Take a look at all the people who have posted about the Destroyer, including me, and then add up the number of posts. It would be some astronomical number. Not to mention read all of the posts ever written by these people and tell me that some guy wanting to promote his product has that much time to invent all of that information and then type it up.

I can't really blame you for being skeptical though because I was too at one time. Then I bought it and was literally blown away.

Do yourself a favor. Buy the Destroyer, use it to the fullest extent, and watch your scores go up,up, up.

mhmm...i too was a doubter. i got sick of everyone promoting the destroyer because i didn't see how ONE book could really be that helpful. I even thought these people were being paid to promote the thing, haha.

but alas...it DOES work. I got mine about 5 days before the test, went through it twice and my scores went up like crazy, especially in bio. imagine about 50 pages of clear, understandable, simplified textbook explanation in one problem, multiply that by 100 problems per section and you have the destroyer...plus Dr. Romano answers any questions you might have.

You can think what you want man, but myself and many many other people on here will attest to the destroyer being a huge help in studying for the DAT... Personally (and this is my own opinion) Yes, I did study my brains out for months, yes I did put in the time and effort and hard work, but I certainly do not think my scores would be nearly as high as they were without Dr Romano and using the destroyer to study.. So thanks Doc...

WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP DOUBTING ROMANO...?
HE MADE A PRODUCT THAT WORKS...all these posts that praise him cannot be Dr. Romano especially since it is apparent that these kids are online answering questions like every other student...Romano prolly doesn't have time to do that...I bought destroyer and i just think it is the best REVIEW...make sure u go over concepts fully...then let destroyer hand ur ass to you...then, review the concepts you are weaker on and u'll be alright.

For those who praise the Destroyer, would you all post your DAT scores please...And for those who used the Destroyer and did get a good result, who you also please say something... so that the SCALE doesn't tip all the way to one side. Thank you...

RT just get it, no reason to ask for scores trust me. Ive been on here all summer long did Kaplan etc... I did okay in everything except PAT. Got 19's and 21 in gchem. I got a 15 on PAT and if I'm going to have to re-take the test I am definately getting destroyer because people that used it at least have 20s. Not necessarily because of the Destroyer those people studied hard but I believe they would agree that it was an awesome tool.

Now all Romano has to do is make something for the PAT! There's nothing about PAT on the DAT Destroyer right?

nope...nothing on PAT or reading, but then again those aren't really things you can be taught how to do. the destroyers true strength lies in its explanations of questions, something thats hard to do for the pat.

if you want PAT practice use achiever and topscore and get the barron's DAT book...it has a really good PAT section with plenty of useful hints on how to approach the PAT and some nice practice problems.

and RT...you know all of our scores and by now you have to know its not a fluke...if you've studied hard and want to tie up those loose ends then the destroyer is a great tool

totally agree with bruinpredent, not all of us on SDN or out there get destroyer or know about it, there;re many people on SDN who scores are amazing even without destroyer (no offense to people who used destroyer)........don\t panic , go there and do your best.......if you would want to retake it after all do that with destroyer...............FIRST AND IMPORTANT, TAKE THAT TEST AND TRY TO BE CALM!!

Thank you blueeyes and bruin...but I have to be realistic here...I got AA 16-17 for top/achiever, with that kind of scores, the chance I'll do good tomorrow is slim. Hopefully the coffeine will help.

Ok so I've been reading a lot about the DAT destroyer and I think I'm going to go for it and order now. But I am taking the test on friday the 6th, do u think it is too late? I've been getting AA of 17 and 18 on the Achiever and TopScore. Will Destroyer take me to the next level?

I think I'll buy the thing since the DAT definity worth more than that. Some people say you can call and have them expedite it. (I'm a terrible speller)

If you call them, you will talk to Nancy and she is the most helpful person out there. She will try to accomodate your time restriction, and you will probably get the book on time.

I also agree with everyone else who posted above. The Destroyer is simply an excellent study guide that has a background of proven results. The people who post on SDN are not working for Dr. Romano etc...they are simply satisfied customers who did well on the DAT. When a product workes, why not give it the credit it deserves.

Thank you for your input. I actually did call and spoke with both Nancy and Dr. Romano. I was having a hard time believing everything I was reading but after talking with them I now know it is true. I ordered the book and hopefully it will help.
