a students avg number of interviews offered in late sept?

This is extremely specialty, number of programs applied to, and even geography specific.
If you're doing FM and for some strange reason applied to 50 programs, you might have 30 interviews lined up already. If you are doing rad onc, you might not even get your first one till almost november.
Just unclench and wait for it.
