Yeah, it sounds like the wolves got an additional PM. And since we can't just PM individuals within the groups, it's still going to be difficult as far as getting info out without risking the wolves finding out.

I wonder if the groups were totally randomized or if Lupin set them up in any particular way.

I have seen fit to extend deadline for 2 hours of discussion. If no one bothers to show up before too long, I will close. I do hope people can rally and start pushing buttons and having earnest back and forths, tos and fros, etc.

Also @Romoret , putting a game thread on watch is also a helpful way to see when someone has posted. 🙂

I didn't acknowledge votes against me because until I was tagged by you at 4:47pm, my phone did not give any notification of this WW game. Also being at work prevents one from checking in for a period of time.

I meant when you did show up. You voted before lynch closed. You clearly saw the lynch tally since you knew to vote for Rogert to try to save yourself. So.
 
Crap! I'm glad the deadline was extended because my internet has been unreliable all day. I also find the lack of defense from Romoret a little off putting so lynch Romoret
 
Hi! I'm a villager. I only have one PM and that is my group PM. (Not part of a wolf PM). Seeing as the roles were completely random, I'm not sure what the point of revealing would be.

I haven't watched the show but I guess that makes me a sassy mother of one of the characters.
 
There is no point in revealing, that's one of the points of the game, to remove that element. We're looking for some discussion about your posts today. So, why didn't you acknowledge the votes against you when you showed up 5 minutes before the original deadline and were in the lead?
 
I saw the votes against me and I responded. What else is there for me to do? I said I was a villager.
The first lynch is always a gamble so there is very little to go off of in order to point fingers at other people.
 
I can't convince people that I am a villager because nothing has happened yet. I just feel bad because once I am lynched, there will be one less villager. That puts the wolves at the advantage.

You know what I am gonna do? I am going to make this lynch last even longer because you people have got to learn how to play this type of game. They are easy to mod and, I think, once enough of you figure out how to actually play a murder mystery game by interrogating each other on the thread, you will enjoy them too.

We have a nice beginning here with an exciting exchange between WZ and Romo, so I ask that other players follow suit. If it is once again failing miserably, I will give up and just get my kicks somewhere else.

Umm, if you are looking for intense discussions they are unlikely to happen overnight. Even the best of us night owls need our sleep.

I also have an uber busy day tomorrow, so unlikely to get involved in any intense discussions.

I know what you are looking for but games like the one Doc just played in aren't going to happen with a bunch of professional students. I'll try to discuss more when I can but honestly I am not much of a talking type. Though I do offer some good soup, if you don't get on me nerves... 😉

You know me. I can go on forever. But I also don't want to be talking to myself on the thread. People will think I'm crazy or something 😀
I'm sort of in agreement with dy. I think we have more chance for discussion after the first day.

1) Because the first vote is generally random as nothing has happened yet.
2) There's little I can do to say people one way or another because I am generally a quiet guy who isn't outspoken and doesn't point fingers.
3) Basically all the stuff I've been saying up til now. You ask questions, I answer them, you ask them again as if my answers would change/you are looking for me to slip up or give a reaction that your 6th sense "feelz" radar picks up on. Bandwagon follows.

I get that, and I also doubt there is much feels to gain when there was no actual defense made. I don't know that there is anything to calibrate. I will think on your suggestion.

The extremely busy schedules of our people is exactly why I am trying to accommodate everyone with extra long day cycles. And you are right, I am trying to create a game style that is very close to true mafia games. I think they have their place. And as to you not saying you are much of a talker, pretty much every game I see you are expressing your thoughts on players and getting discussions going quite often. 😛
 
Of note though, some of those games like the one DocE played have 36 hour day cycles. Longer day, possibly more discussion from more people. Everyone gets to contribute!
