How long is taking now for AACOMAS verification. I have submitted about 30 days ago and not heard from them. Should I call, email??

Takes 10 weeks.

Should take 4-6. After it was 4 weeks for me, I sent a couple messages on AACOMAS..no response. Then called them and they said it is still processing..but then it was verified an hour later. Def call them up and bring your app to their attention. Can't hurt!

Uhm, why would they not be busy now? By now, all the MD-hopefuls are getting scared and submitting DO applications.

They stop being busy in November/December.

They're working at capacity. I'm in the middle of week 6 and still haven't been verified yet.

Makes sense... there operation is sub-par... they can't save recommendation letters, give me a break.... the money they're charging... I would be happy to do this with half the money 🙂

Calling them doesn't work, by the way. They're just going to tell you to wait it out. I got told to wait another week. The only thing we can do, guys, is wait and pre-write secondaries. It's frustrating, yeah, but I'm sure they're going as fast as they can to make sure everything is in order and it's all correct. And hey, by October we'll all be released and receiving secondaries.

Be grateful AACOMAS even exists. Imagine how long it would take to apply to all schools individually

GAAAAHHH!!! I just got a message from AACOMAS saying that my app was undelivered because I forgot to designate freshman, sophomore, etc. on my coursework! I can't believe I made such a stupid mistake.

I was ready for review on the 17th... still waiting. I noticed a lot of people in the verification thread were verified in ~ 5wks + 2 days and that is today for me, but I won't hold my breath.

Caught myself mislabeling FR/SO/etc about five times while doing the coursework section. Sucks!
