Hi everyone! I was president of a student service organization where we organized a variety of day-long service events—some asynchronous, some on-site. Each event was with a different organization and typically lasted no more than a day (e.g., hosting a blood drive, setting up and running a half-marathon, organizing letter-writing campaigns and supply drives, etc.).
I'm wondering how best to list this in the Experiences section of the AADSAS application. Right now, I have everything grouped as a single "Extracurriculars" entry, since it feels more cohesive than breaking each event down by organization and hours. But since it's service-oriented, I’m not sure if it would be better categorized as "Volunteering."
Would love to hear how others approached/would recommend approaching something similar—this feels like a gray area, and I’m surprised I haven’t found more info online!
