aadsas GPA w and GPA w/o

Can someone please explain what GPA w and w/o means? I have read the entire aadsas FAQ and Instructions sections, and I am still in the dark. Thanks kindly for your help, guys!

GPA with includes the +/- on grades and w/o doesn't.

i am a little confused about this as well--mainly because my school only used pluses (sp?) and not minuses....so basically the grade scale was A, B+, B, C+, C, D, D+, E. so i'm not really sure if we use the +/- gpa or the w/o gpa.

So what gpa does the school look at? The w or w/o? Shouldnt the w be looked at because thats what system my undergraduate used?
