Okay people let's look at this semi-logically. AADSAS states that they do not open until 9 AM on their website and right now it is 8:20 AM or so EST.
I am assuming that once they open it should be up and available.
Good luck to all those applying this year and especially to us re-applicants.

Just talked to adsaas they said it will be open by 7pm. They would not give any specific time. Just some time between now and then. Hope that helps

Hmmm... Thats conflicting with what they just told me... I guess just check back every once and a while.

You know what, I don't care who you are or what you think you know about me. Ignored.
I'd like to think that everyone has something to do, as we are all very busy and worried about our careers, our lives and of course getting into dental school.
As with the not knowing you comment, if you became a dentist, how many of your walk in patients would "know you". Would you think any patient would want a dentist that has a "I want this to get over with because I have stuff to do" attitude?
Well, sounds like any time today is fair game. For all this other stuff going on... Sounds like we have some tired ones.

I'm in the same bout as you, I've got to be at work by 2 today, and was hoping to have enough time to drive out and get my transcripts dealt now. I share your frustrations.

Being 30+ yrs old. It's something that I feel strongly about. I would want a dentist that doesn't rush out patients because they have other things to do. The medical profession is one that should be more personal and compassionate. It's not only about knocking out as many things on your checklist as quickly as possible.
If I don't make it to dental school, I would request that you far more capable applicants would heed that advice and I see that alot of you are indeed very capable.

when it is open, hopefully it will be clear. I can't tell if it's open now..I don't see any links that say, "Sign in here"
Well, one page has last year's stuff on it and the home page doesnt even load so I think it is safe to say that it is not open.
I respect what achy is saying, but finishing an app and dealing with patients are two completely different things. Just wait till... once we all become dentists 🙂xf🙂, we will all be pushing the paperwork aside and saying, "I have better things to do. Now what room is the patient in."

The sheer amount of insurance forms you have to fill out will leave you speechless!
The papers can wait till the end of the day or until a time in which there are no patients. As you see, in my little story about when we are dentists, I said that I was going to see the patient instead of doing the paperwork that exact moment. Now how many patients would want to be second to paperwork?

Nope. Quite frankly, I have nothing to do all day except this application. Lucky me.
However, I'm very surprised you've never had the, "I want this to get over with because I have stuff to do" attitude. Case in point, have you never had to go to the bathroom at an inopportune time, and went, "I want this to get over with because I have stuff to do"? If not, you must have an extraordinary digestive system, because I always seem to have to go number 2 when I have company over.
(If you didn't catch my drift, I was trying to point out the fact that you're comparing apples to oranges. Patients ≠ application ≠ poo.)

I didn't insult yuppers, I was agreeing with him actually. He made a very valid scenario where there are tons of paperwork that Dentists will go through everyday and how they treat their patients first before running through the checklist at the end of the day.
And unlike his comments, it appears you can't do anything but insult other people.
It all because Aadsas won't open....
