"Taken" is a great movie...especially if you can get a hold of the international version with the scenes uncut....
and the fight on this thread is amazing...we can't even get applications to open yet and everyone is arguing about who is going to be a good/bad dentist...

That would look like you took the class freshman year when you didn't.
I think you should not put it at all.

Yeah, I don't know why it doesn't allow you to enter multiple dates when you received an award...like I have a couple scholarships that I've gotten every semester, but the way AADSAS makes you enter it, it only looks like I got it once. Anyway, for the Dean's List thing, I cheated a little...for the date received, I entered the first time I was on Dean's List, and in the "Name of award/honor/scholarship" box, I wrote "Dean's List (Fall 06, Spr/Sum 07, Spr/Sum/Fal 08)"....the box allows 50 characters, so it worked out!

My school doesn't give out minus grades but does give out plus grades, therefore a B+ is equivalent to a 3.5, etc. When I put in a B+ for my transcript grade, would I select AB for the AADSAS grade since this would be the equivalent or just select B+ and my GPA will go down a little? 😕

I entered it in with my first semester (fall 06) classes...on my transcripts it lists the AP credits as its own term "Fall A- 2006", but "Fall A" isn't an option on AADSAS...I mean it should be pretty obvious that I didn't actually take the classes in fall 06, since the course title is for example "AP BIOLOGY" and the special classification says "Advanced Placement", and considering the fact that my high school info says I graduated in spring 06. They get thousands of these applications, I am sure they are smart enough to figure it out!

Whenever I entered my course grade it automatically selected the AADSAS grade for me and wouldn't let me click the drop-down, so I think it should be automatic...

I'd dont think we can... I mean we got college credits for them and they are on on transcripts. So I'm just going with what victoria said to do.

for Planned courses/in progress....what if we know that we will be taking courses in the fall but just not what courses they will be. I'm starting a Masters this august at umdnj, but we don't register for courses until orientation which is august19th...i'm not waiting that late to submit my app. What would you rather do just put courses that you think you will be signing up for or just leave it blank and then when academic update rolls around edit the course info???

I would just put the courses you think you will be taking...adcoms just want an idea of what your course load looks like, and I am sure they are aware that plans change! I am not 100% sure about my planned fall 2009 classes either!

ya that happened to me too. I guess thats just the way they programmed it for whatever reason.

AADSAS scrambled mine all around too...I was really confused for a while but then realized this is just how they programmed it.
