3R-6R were not available last year, so I doubt very many people have experience with both. they probably just took out some organic problems and substituted immunology problems.
I just did AAMC III and compared it to the free version of 3R on www.e-mcat.com. All the passages are the same, but on the verbal section they eliminated 5 questions. The PS section is exactly the same. On the Bio section they took out some of the non-passage questions and put in new questions on the new material. They also changed a few of the passage questions to new stuff. So basically it is the same test but differs by about 5 questions in bio and has 5 less questions on verbal.
I just went and asked if they had the 3R-6R that was relased by AAMC recently. They said that they are ordering them, but nope, they don't have it yet. I guess I am not going to be able to take them before the real thing. 3R is available on aamc.org with their answers.
I might end up buying these tests so I can take them, not sure if its worth it though.
These are revised full length tests. Revised for the new MCAT material.
