I do not get how the concentration of (CP)n must be 1/n times the concentration of HPO4 2-.

I think that since n is a subscript in CP, if n increases then concentration of CP too increases.

It was because HPO4 2- had a coefficient of n in front of it, so you must divide by that in order to get what the concentration of (CP) was. The subscript was irrelevant.

(Unless it was more complicated and it was like n^n, and the subscript cancelled out an n?)
