After roughly 2 months of content review I took aamc 6, the full length version. The reason I took this one first is because I already took a couple of the other aamc tests and wanted to see where I stood now with a test I have never done before. I don't know if it was a smart idea but I treated this test as if it was the real deal, meaning I didn't finish it, I stopped at 52 questions for the Physics and Bio and at 40 questions for Verbal. It just so happened to work out that for physics 52 questions was 8 passages and 2 sets of stand alone questions, for verbal 40 questions was 6 passages and for bio 52 questions was 7 passages and 2 sets of stand alone questions. Everything matched pretty much similar to the regular sized tests. Pretty much once I hit Q 52 on PS and BS I stopped and Q40 on Verbal I stopped. I set a timer and did this under the same time conditions as the real test. My only issue is not how to interpret the results. Should I look at the score conversion for the shortened aamc 6 or should I convert my score into percentages and find the same percentage score for the score conversion for the full length version of aamc 6. I am asking because I did hear there are some differences between the long and short version, especially in the B.S section.
If I take my score using the score conversion for aamc 6 shorter version
P.S.=13
V.B.=8
B.S.=10

If I convert into percentages and find the same percentage using aamc 6 full length score conversion

P.S.=13
V.B.=8-9 leaning more towards 9
B.S.=11

I heard the B.S. between both is different and would just want to know for now roughly were I stand.
Would my score be rated as a 31, 32, or 33?

I personally if I were you do the whole AAMC 6R test and base it off that but that's just me. Also was the verbal harder than the previous AAMCs you have taken?

Just a reminder that AAMC 6 contains passages from the self-assessment (that's how the SA was made after all!)

I actually found 2-3 passages in the AAMC 3R from self assessment. Also I did self assessment about a week ago and honestly forgot most of it. That's why I plan to do AAMC 6 as well.

Yep AAMC self asssesment contains the R passages and aamc 6.

Id recommend doing the self assessment again.. i really found it useful

I did Self Assessment but I forgot most of the questions so I'm doing AAMC 6R tomorrow as review since I probably only remember 20% of the questions.

The most reliable way of seeing where you are at is taking about 3 full-length AAMC tests and then taking the average of those. One test isn't enough for an accurate score because they do fluctuate in quality and difficulty.
