I kept getting (c) instead of (a).

Looking at their explanation, I don't think their math is correct for this question:

(0.01)×(5 × 10^–2)×(2 × 10^8)/10 = 10^2 kg 😕

Shouldn't it be = 10^4??

i had that question at first. the solution doesnt give it justice. you have to convert the cross sectional area from cm2 to m2 so that the units cancel out. it should be 5x10-4 not 5x10-2. They did that when working it out but didnt put it that way in the solution to the problem.
