Hey, looking for advice and opinions on numbers:

My first AAMC FL 1 was a month and a half ago. Scored a 499 (122/127/125/125)

Took time to brush up on chemistry, and a week ago took AAMC FL 2. Scored a 506 (126/131/126/124).

Took AAMC FL 3. Scored a 500 (125/125/126/124).

Can someone help me make sense of these numbers? What is your personal experience with FL 3 compared to the real thing? Did I just have a bad run with CARS? Should I be worried? Like I said, I thought I had made serious improvements with my science sections. Then may science sections today were decent, but CARS failed me.

OR if anyone has any success stories or encouraging words, that would be nice too!

Your last two FLs are well rounded which is good to see, and a fluctuation between 500-506 would not be bad at all depending on where you plan to apply to later on. When will you be taking the MCAT @Rogue42? It sounds like you're doing everything right since your numbers have dramatically went up, but try not to get too comfortable with just the FLs and try to find other sources for extra practice as well and content. Keep up the good work!

I also had a similar situation with cars 130 --> 125 on CARS FL2 to FL3 and freaked out but I feel like you just have to be confident when you go in for your test that you are capable of higher scores in that section.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I took the MCAT two days after that post so this past Friday. I initially posted it out of slight fear.

Oh okay haha, well it is all said and done now. Look forward to the score!

I don't think I am "looking forward" to the score because I feel like I bombed C/P but thank you for your support!

Everyone always feels a little worried about one section at least, so you're not alone. I know for me, my C/P felt the weakest but it turned out to be my highest scoring section haha. So its just the way of the game and I'm sure you did fine!
