Well, I did the AAMC 3 and received a mere score of 8Verbal, 4Physics, 14Bio
I precisely have a month to prepare for this test. I have access to all the AAMC practice tests and all the prep books one can imagine. You see, it is part of a challenge and the challenger has supplied me with the necessary materials. I have to score above a 35 because he scored a 34P. I really don't see how one can prepare for this test, as most of the questions are derived from passages. Ideas to prepare, thank you for taking ~3-4 seconds for reading this. Advices and PLEASE, :troll:. NO "TROLLS" :diebanana:. Along with you advice, please feel free to include your scores as well. Thanks

You already lost the challenge. You will never be able to get the 35Q. You might get a 35, but the Q is out of the question.

And why is that my dear Swede ? Plus, you have no right to be on this thread. You clearly don't follow the regulations, PLEASE POST YOUR SCORE. I AM IN NEED OF ADVICE REGARDING PLANNING NOT SKEPTICISM. Even if a Q is impossible, I will be getting into a good medical school and slave away my intellect under the system. :claps:

Because the Q refers to the writing section, which isn't administered anymore. So you educate yourself on the exam itself before attempting to study for it.
And I don't have my score back yet, but I was averaging 35 on the practice exams. And you can follow the SN2ed schedule.

It seems we have a bit of misunderstanding. Oh, well well you stated, "So you educate yourself on the exam itself before attempting to study for it" DID I MENTION MY WRITING SCORE ON THE AAMC 3? NO I did reckon that, "Even if a Q is impossible, I will be getting into a good medical school and slave away my intellect under the system. " Which clearly does not imply that I ever did believe that I was going to achieve nor expend my efforts for the writing section or "the Q refers to the writing section, which isn't administered anymore." The 35Q was merely an assumption based on the conditions of the bet, as you see "he" scored a 35P. The bet is still on due to the fact that the letter grade is averaged to the score and adds a couple index points to the mean score that colleges use to evaluate applicants, now 35Q is equivalent to a score of 36 on the 2014 MCAT. How long did you prepare for it?

His score has magically gone up by a point it seems. I studied about 4 months, with the last 2 being much more intense. And, where did you read about the averaging of this writing score? I know my school ignores the writing score for the older MCAT because you can't evaluate people with writing scores to people without writing scores fairly.

He took it 5 years ago, well I cant exactly tell you where I got it from. I however can assure you that this "index point to mean score" concept comes from one of the most prestigious medical schools in the United States. He was attending this school, I know this is not a fair competition either but I cant go back on my word. Seriously, I would be doing something else now i.e enjoying the PS3. Anyways, What was your 1st diagnostic test score? How did you improve your score i.e. test taking or memorizing concepts from books? Do you think my Physical Sciences will improve, 4 is horrible? and finally, Do you think my verbal can go from an 8 to a 14?:whoa:

My AAMC 3 was 11 PS/9 VR/12 BS =32, but this was not a diagnostic. I didn't take any diagnostics, I took exam after I reviewed all the content.

A 4 in PS means you don't know any of the content and were basically guessing, so you need content review there and should go up to at least around 10.
VR, I am not sure, my verbal didn't move much, just read about some strategies and do practice daily and it should improve. I don't know about the 14 though

lol, the 14 I hope I can replicate that on test day:xf:. Yup, the PS score of 4 +pissed+, I'll start reviewing the content then. Thanks swede I'll tell you my score after I receive it, hopefully I win this bet and show him.
