I just took AAMC test 3 like a real MCAT
and I only got 8 on my vr... 🙁
It's really disappointing because when I practiced with Kaplan, I could manage 10 at least..I found the passage and question styles to be a lot different too.

I was just wondering if the real MCAT vr is similar to that 3R? Is it easier than that or harder(hope not..)?

Consider this, the AAMC tests are numbered in order in which they are released. They release 9 earlier this year, and they release a new one every year. Bottom line, 3 is an old exam, and may not be representative of the current administration.

I would recommend taking 7-9 as a better gauge of your progress.

However, the difference b/w Kaplan and the AAMC for verbal is for real.

I read somewhere on this forum that Kaplan verbal is different from real MCAT verbal. They make their verbal with their own tactics in mind.
