Does anyone know what this is? I logged into my ABEM to check my requirements before the end of the year. First time I've noticed this. It looks like they want me to do a residency style QI project every 5 years??

Yes you pick something your department already does like tracking door to balloon times, LWBS numbers and plug that in.

If you are on pretty much any hospital committee that will count. Or just do the above.

So, I kept a list of seekers and frequent flyers and said "no" to them.
Then, I saw if they came back.
They did.

Project: People don't listen, so it doesn't matter. Get a grip ABEM.

What people are saying above, is correct. There is almost certainly some pointless busy work you group or hospital already makes you do, that you can use for this. Get creative. This does not have to be nearly as hard as you think.
