OK, so I dont want to do abortions. I'm not "pro life" though. I do think abortions should be legal, I just dont want to do them. I will refer any patient to a competent ob/gyn who does abortions though.

So will I be forced to train in abortions in residency? Do they offer any kind of opt out or is it understood that you are required to be trained in them?

If I have to go through the training, do I have to actually perform the abortions in residency too?

All OB/Gyn programs are required by their RRC and CREOG guidelines to have abortion training available. Hardly any, except a select handful, require or push abortions on their residents. So in short, if you want to see or participate in abortions you can, if you don't then you won't be punished. If you have strong feelings one way or another, just ask the residents or program director about this during the interview day.
