It says i have to put all the classes i took including Fs and Ws and so on.

How is this going to affect my GPA? since i FAILED several classes during my freshman year -.-;(i simply did not go to school....omg... why did i do that...) and retook the classes i failed. My school replaced with higher grade for the ones i retook.

Will calculating GPA on the application be the same? or is it going to be averaged...? for example, F(0)+A(4.0)/2 = 2.0 or something like that.....

someone pliz help me out with this problem... i'm scared T_T

Unfortunately, I think AADSAS calculates all of the grades you received, even if you retook the class. So both grades (the F and the A) will go into your GPA. But dental schools really care about an upward trend, so as long as your grades got better after freshman year, that will be to your advantage. Good luck!

Yep, your AADSAS GPA will be lower than your university GPA as they will factor in every course with no replacements. Don't worry though, I failed two classes, it screwed my GPA a little, but as the previous poster said, they love upward trends.

aite.... thanks all!! i probably need high score on DAT....T_T

AADSAS will count both the previous courses you took as well as your retakes. GL

Doesn't it kill you that the classes you typically fail your freshman year are also the easiest?!

I failed a University 101 class called "First Year Experience" where you basically met every Monday and talked about journal entries, turned them in, and did ice breakers. The whole semester's work could have been done in an afternoon but I still failed!

Getting straight A's in upper division classes to make up for these mistakes was not fun.
