I know salary is not something that should make or break a specialty decision... but i was wondering if anyone knows the range that a heme/onc doc would make in an academic setting. just curious... thanks.

One of the academic oncologists I have worked with said 5-10 years out he makes 1/3 of what he could make in private practice.
