Academic Update and Letters of Interest

Hey all,

On my application I have a shadowing experience that I recently stopped doing because I got a full-time job as a research assistant in a dental lab so I can no longer make it. I tried to update it in ADEA AADSAS but I can't edit experiences, only add new ones. Has this happened to anyone, what's the work around for this?

Also is now a good time to start sending letters of interest to schools if you haven't heard back from some of your top picks, do they really make a difference?

You are correct that we cannot edit current experiences. What I did for my updates were create new experiences and added the amount of hours I've accumulated since I submitted my app, but I kept the same info/description and made sure to uncheck the "current experience" box.
