Academic Update Period Question

Hey guys,

I plan to apply this summer during June/July, and I plan to take a course during the summer and during the fall as well.

My question is, I understand that during the academic update period, I can update them with the grades I received during the summer semester...but what about the fall semester? How/when do I update those grades? Especially since those grades won't be submitted/completed until December.

academic update runs all the way 'til feb i think

you can put it in whenever you get your mark back but schools don't nec. have to look at it to offer you an interview

even for your summer course, schools might not see it unless you hold off on submitting your entire app 'til your mark's out, 'cause you wouldn't be able to submit your mark 'til november, and most acceptances are given before dec., which means most interviews are done well before that

honestly, academic updates are kind of useless imo

You can only do an Academic Update once. So that means you have to wait until you finish the Fall semester and then you do an update to reflect the Summer and Fall grades. You can make the update from starting November, so you have to wait until end of Dec to Jan to make the update to reflect the Summer and Fall semesters.

So, if I waited until end of fall to do my update, I can still submit my application early in the summer, right? (like around June/July)

I plan to enter courses in progress for summer and for fall, so just b/c I have courses in progress doesn't mean I can't still submit my application to schools, right?
